Lead Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist (Robotics)

hirify.global is developing general-purpose humanoid robots for use in homes, workplaces, factories, farms, and other environments.

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with product roadmaps and production scaling.
• Establish sourcing models, including single versus dual sourcing, global versus regional sourcing, and make-versus-buy decisions.
• Identify, evaluate, onboard, negotiate with, and manage global suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components.
• Ensure material readiness for prototype builds, pilot production, and scale-up while implementing forecasting, supply planning, and inventory strategies.
• Manage supplier risk, cost roadmaps, RFQs, cost modeling, contracts, logistics, freight optimization, and customs coordination.
• Partner with Engineering on DFM/DFA, cost-down, and value engineering initiatives while building the future supply chain team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain within hardware, robotics, advanced manufacturing, or industrial systems.
• Experience building or scaling supply chain functions in early-stage or growth-stage environments.
• Demonstrated success negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing global vendors.
• Strong commercial acumen and cost modeling skills, including BOM and landed cost analysis.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and international suppliers.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and structured procurement workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting complex electromechanical or robotics products.
• Experience scaling from prototypes through low-volume and higher-volume manufacturing.
• Background in cost engineering or value analysis/value engineering.
• Experience implementing dual-sourcing or supply chain risk mitigation programs.
• Experience building procurement systems from first principles or an advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
