Tij2x Gen 3 IPH Product Engineer

Location: Onsite in Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang (Penang), Malaysia

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing quality and end-of-line gates for Tij2x Gen 3 print heads.
• Qualify new materials and process changes through characterization, reliability testing, and structured test plans.
• Support new product launches, new line setup, and qualification as the product engineering focal point.
• Lead product and process investigations, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional communication of findings.
• Develop analysis and testing capabilities and drive product, process, quality, productivity, and efficiency improvements.
• Apply Industry 4.0 elements, manage issue containment and resolution, and build a high-performing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s degree, or PhD in electrical/electronics engineering, chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Strong people management, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Experience leading diverse teams and collaborating across geographies, organizational levels, and functions.
• Understanding of TIJ technologies and common failure modes, including autopsy and sample preparation.
• Knowledge of design of experiments, test planning, product reliability, and characterization.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0; knowledge of ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma, and chemical management is advantageous.
