What you will do

• Develop and maintain quality management systems, including audits and process controls for suppliers.
• Perform reliability testing, risk assessments, and root cause analysis for materials and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to define manufacturing process flows that meet quality, reliability, and yield requirements.
• Benchmark emerging industry technologies to define future quality and reliability requirements.
• Conduct supplier quality capability assessments and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Visit vendor facilities to assess manufacturing environments and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Applied Physics with 5+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year).
• Proven experience in characterization and analysis of physical, mechanical, and dimensional properties of materials used in assembly manufacturing, specifically substrates.
• Ability to work independently within a matrixed organization.
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders across the materials ecosystem.
