Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain proprietary low-latency trading systems and infrastructure.
• Develop trading tools that leverage high-performance systems.
• Improve the scalability, performance, and efficiency of trading infrastructure.
• Design technical solutions based on evolving business needs.
• Work across frontend-facing projects and backend infrastructure using different programming languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and building distributed and scalable software in Java, Go, C++, or similar general-purpose languages.
• Self-directed approach, initiative, and willingness to demonstrate peer leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, distributed or highly concurrent systems, and low-latency or high-transaction environments.
• Experience with relational databases and collaborative software development.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining highly optimized, scalable code.
