What you will do

• Lead the ground-up rebuild of Electronic Trading data infrastructure into a cloud-native, AI-first platform.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, highly available systems that process and distribute massive volumes of business-critical data in near real time.
• Develop reliable data-ingestion pipelines for trading and market-data systems.
• Design distributed computation infrastructure for parallelized queries across large datasets.
• Build an AI-powered UI and agent framework for intelligent analytics and insights.
• Partner with business, client-application, Regulatory, and Compliance stakeholders while mentoring engineers and shaping technical standards.

Requirements

• Approximately 5–10 years of professional experience building high-performance, low-latency systems at Vice President level.
• Strong Java knowledge; experience with Python, Java, or Scala is relevant.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, concurrency, JVM internals, garbage-collection tuning, and performance optimization.
• Experience with highly available, low-latency systems and distributed stream processing at large scale.
• Hands-on exposure to HDFS/S3, Snowflake, SingleStore, Kafka or similar streaming systems, and Flink or similar distributed-processing frameworks.
• Ability to independently drive complex development, influence senior stakeholders, mentor engineers, and set technical standards.
