Backend Engineer - Transaction (Java)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain transaction-related backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build core business processes for order and transaction workflows.
• Ensure data consistency, reliability, and correctness across critical systems.
• Support stable transaction-system operation under high concurrency.
• Participate in requirements discussions, technical design, and code reviews.
• Document and share technical solutions and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building or maintaining core business systems in structured development environments.
• Awareness of data protection, security, or compliance requirements for transaction systems.
• Effective communication in English and Chinese is required.
• Ability to work onsite in London.

Nice to have

• Experience in large internet or e-commerce companies.
• Experience with high-reliability or transaction-intensive systems.
