Head of Strategic Sourcing

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end identification, evaluation, onboarding, and development of suppliers and contract manufacturing partners.
• Build visibility into the global supplier landscape for key hardware component categories and address capability, cost, and supply-risk opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, contractual protections, quality, intellectual property, exclusivity, and capacity commitments.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships, governance cadences, business reviews, and improvement plans for underperforming suppliers.
• Support supply base resilience by addressing concentration risk and single-source dependencies.
• Partner with hardware engineering, quality, supply chain leadership, operations, and planning on supplier qualification, make-versus-buy decisions, design-to-cost, and S&OP inputs.

Requirements

• Significant strategic sourcing or procurement experience in hardware or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience building and managing a high-performing supplier base and contract manufacturing network.
• Exceptional commercial negotiation skills and a total-cost-of-ownership approach.
• Strong supplier development capability across multiple categories.
• Deep knowledge of hardware component and contract manufacturing supply landscapes.
• Excellent communication, senior stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, decisiveness, and relationship-building skills.
