Indirect Procurement Manager

What you will do

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing procurement team through hiring, coaching, training, workload management, and performance accountability.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across software, professional services, hardware, capital expenditures, and research and development.
• Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including requirements gathering, competitive bidding, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and renewals.
• Partner with Engineering, IT, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to define requirements, forecast spend, assess total cost of ownership, and establish agreements, intellectual property terms, and statements of work.
• Negotiate complex, high-value agreements and develop strategic supplier relationships that improve pricing, service quality, innovation, and long-term value.
• Improve procurement operations through standardized processes, supplier reviews, KPIs, continuous improvement, and executive reporting on category performance and risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• Experience with indirect categories such as IT, professional services, hardware, capital expenditures, or facilities management.
• 3+ years of experience hiring, managing, coaching, and developing procurement or sourcing professionals.
• Experience developing category strategies and leading complex, high-value negotiations involving MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and renewals.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including evaluation of pricing models, spend, and total cost of ownership.
