Software Engineer (React)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the office, and Wednesday work-from-home optional

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 base annually, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Engage with customers to collect feedback and shape prototypes and product features.
• Build end-to-end features, including backend and database work, with a focus on user interface and user experience.
• Develop accessible interfaces using React, Next.js, Tailwind, JollyUI, and React Aria.
• Establish UI development practices and build a documented, reusable component library with the design team.
• Refactor existing interfaces and mentor colleagues on frontend development.
• Provide technical support to customers in collaboration with Client Operations.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, including for H-1B, F-1, or OPT status.
• 3+ years of full-time industry experience building frontend web applications in production.
• At least 2 years of TypeScript experience and 3+ years of React experience.
• Experience with React Aria or an equivalent library for accessible React components.
• Experience building a design system or using an existing component library, plus Tailwind with React.

Nice to have

• GraphQL and fragments experience.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch, Sentry, or similar logging tools.
• Experience building AI-related interfaces, including large language model chat interfaces.
• Additional full-stack experience with Next.js, Express, and SQL databases.
