Frontend Engineer (React)

What you will do

• Define and own the frontend architecture for complex, high-scale products.
• Design scalable component systems, UI frameworks, reusable libraries, design systems, and internal tooling.
• Translate product requirements and Figma designs into robust technical architectures.
• Lead initiatives in performance optimization, accessibility, security, scalability, and engineering efficiency.
• Review critical code paths, establish engineering best practices, and resolve production-scale issues.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend while mentoring senior engineers toward architect-level capability.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of frontend engineering experience with deep React and TypeScript expertise.
• Experience architecting large-scale, distributed, modular frontend systems and cross-platform solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Redux, Zustand, Recoil, React Query, or similar state-management tools.
• Expertise in JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, Web APIs, browser internals, build tools, bundling, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of REST, GraphQL, caching, client-side data architecture, debugging, and production-scale problem solving.
• Experience with automated testing using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress, plus CI/CD workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js, micro-frontends, or server-side rendering architectures.
• Experience with Storybook, MUI, Chakra, Radix, or other design-system technologies.
• Open-source contributions or experience building internal engineering frameworks.
• Knowledge of web security, accessibility, and SEO optimization.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams or owning cross-functional initiatives.
