Salary: $123,920–$185,880 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations and Partner Government Agency requirements.
  • Assign Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications and determine country of origin, customs valuation, and admissibility.
  • Prepare and oversee customs documentation, valuation practices, and broker instructions.
  • Manage customs brokers and freight forwarders to support compliant and timely import operations.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Legal, Program Management, and Trade Compliance teams to resolve customs issues.
  • Support duty-saving initiatives, including Free Trade Agreements and Duty Drawback programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, legal studies, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of trade compliance experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
  • Working knowledge of HTS classification, customs valuation, import processes, and U.S. Customs regulations.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and export-controlled ITAR/EAR technical data.
  • Strong communication, training, attention-to-detail, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check.

Nice to have

  • Active U.S. Customs Broker License.
  • Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements, including USMCA, 19 CFR, HTSUS, customs valuation, and country of origin determination.
  • Experience with UAV systems, defense articles, controlled software, program management, logistics, or engineering support.
