Salary: $68,400–$114,000 annual

What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, sales performance, operations, servicing, and digital engagement.
• Lead, coach, and develop branch employees, including hiring, performance management, promotions, and staffing decisions.
• Identify Retail and Business Banking customer needs and grow business relationships through proactive outreach and community presence.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and bundle relevant products and services.
• Resolve complex account servicing and customer issues, taking ownership through final resolution.
• Maintain operational controls, security, fraud prevention, audit actions, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Proficiency with common PC and Microsoft Office software, internet, and email.
• Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months; M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements must be completed within 18 months of hire.
