Location: Onsite in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, United States; 3rd shift

Salary: $52,015–$76,250.90 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What you will do

• Monitor and prioritize internal tickets to provide customer support.
• Troubleshoot operating system storage, server hardware, RAID configurations, and connectivity issues.
• Support and upgrade servers running Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Server, Ubuntu Linux, and VMware ESX Server.
• Perform OS installations using PXE, configure network IPs, apply firmware updates, and complete basic operating system administration.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber and copper cabling, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security appliances.
• Install storage hardware, mount devices in cabinets, perform hardware modifications, and complete customer maintenance requests.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience working in a data center environment.
• Ability to build, repair, and upgrade hardware components.
• Strong understanding of storage RAID configurations and requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead.
