Video and Voice Engineer

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $160,000–$200,000, plus variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Engineer and oversee voice and calling infrastructure, advancing migration from on-premises to cloud-based platforms.
• Provide operational support and maintenance for unified communications services.
• Evaluate, plan, and execute cloud-calling transitions with global teams.
• Support Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams conferencing solutions and video infrastructure initiatives.
• Develop automation for voice and video environments using scripting and API integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least seven years of unified communications engineering or voice infrastructure experience.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and on-premises-to-cloud migration.
• Experience with cloud calling platforms, preferably Cisco Webex Calling, and knowledge of on-premises and cloud voice architectures.
• Advanced Python scripting and automation framework experience.
• Working knowledge of SIP trunking, voice gateways, session border controllers, E911 compliance, Cisco AXL, REST APIs, and conferencing platforms.

Nice to have

• Cisco Voice certification such as CCNP or CCIE Collaboration.
