IT Systems Engineer

TL;DR

IT Systems Engineer (AWS/Okta): Evolving IT infrastructure with a focus on deliverability, identity & access management, and compliance with an accent on automation, integrations, and infrastructure-as-code. Focus on designing efficient automations, driving AI adoption through enablement, and leading incident response with InfoSec teams.

Location: San Francisco, California (hybrid, office at least 3 days per week)

Salary: $142,000 - $237,000 (San Francisco Bay Area)

What you will do

• Identify and solve automation and integration problems across teams and business processes.
• Design, build, and own automations for identity & access management, endpoint management, security, compliance, and email deliverability.
• Lead cross-organizational projects to integrate and evolve corporate IT infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code.
• Govern automation and AI adoption through education and enablement to reduce friction.
• Drive IT incident response with InfoSec and engineering teams.
• Integrate AI tools like Tines and Workato for no-code infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3-5 years as Systems Engineer with strong problem-solving and data-driven approach
• Good knowledge of high-level programming language (Ruby, Python, Perl etc.)
• Experience building and operating cloud systems (AWS, Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, Intune, Tines, Workato)
• Passion for systems, automation, and working in fast-moving agile environments

Nice to have

• Experience with iPaaS platforms and enterprise email deliverability
