Inventory Control Clerk - Weekend Shift (Defense)

What you will do

• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels and reorder points, and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Prepare production kits by gathering parts and hardware listed on manufacturing orders.
• Conduct inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile records.
• Coordinate with procurement on component timelines, forecasting, and deliveries.
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain documentation for stock levels, usage, and transactions.
• Improve inventory procedures while safeguarding sensitive materials and supporting compliance and security protocols.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to changing requirements, and work under pressure.
• Proactive, self-motivated, resourceful, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous stockroom, retail inventory, warehouse, or parts-tracking experience is helpful but not required.
• Professional interaction with employees at all levels, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
