Workshop Technician (Kulim) Edwards

What you will do

• Disassemble, clean, assemble, and test vacuum pumps according to quality standards and production schedules.
• Achieve production targets for productivity, volume, and efficiency while reducing rejects.
• Coordinate with team leaders, other departments, stores, and local logistics to ensure quick turnaround.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities focused on workshop quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop and complete required health and safety documentation before starting work.

Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in pumping or vacuum applications.
• Ability to disassemble electromechanical equipment, identify damage and faults, reassemble components, and test performance.
• At least one year of experience servicing electromechanical systems, single-phase and three-phase motors, solenoids, and contactors.
• PC literacy and ability to use Windows-based software.
