Technician 3, Test Equipment Maintenance

What you will do

• Set up and troubleshoot major downtime issues across Testcell, Tester, Bagger, VDCS, and Conveyor systems.
• Investigate Testcell yield and quality incidents, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform product conversions, equipment checklists, repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor process variables and equipment performance using KPOV, OEE, maintenance logs, and digital preventive maintenance tools.
• Support equipment upgrades, continuous improvement projects, engineers, and special production projects.
• Provide technical training and guidance to team members while following ISO, safety, and cleanroom requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including motors, bearings, gears, conveyors, pumps, and compressors.
• Knowledge of electrical systems including AC/DC, three-phase systems, sensors, relays, and drives, plus hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and equipment manuals, isolate equipment failures, and use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE usage, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Windows software.

Nice to have

• Basic PLC and automation or controls troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance tools.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment.
