Machinist and CNC Operator (Robotics)

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, routers, and conventional machining equipment.
• Load raw materials, select tooling, run production cycles, and make machine offset adjustments.
• Read engineering drawings, blueprints, job travelers, and production documents.
• Inspect precision parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, and indicators.
• Identify tool wear and process deviations, report equipment issues, and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Deburr, clean, package, and maintain an organized workstation while following safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience programming with Fusion 360 or Mastercam.
• Expert knowledge of machining processes and shop safety, including exposure to 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining.
• Knowledge of CAM workflows, toolpaths, feeds and speeds, and G/M codes.
• Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and tolerances and use precision measurement tools.
• High school diploma required; ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift 40–50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Vocational training, machining coursework, or certifications in CNC operation, CAM programming, or 5-axis machining technology.
