Senior CNC Programmer & Prototype Machinist – MILL – (3-Axis & 5-Axis Expert)

Location: Future Factory; on-site. U.S. Person status is required due to export control regulations.

Salary: $40.00–$55.00 per hour, with possible overtime during peak build cycles.

What you will do

• Program and operate 3-axis, 4th-axis rotary, and 5-axis CNC mills, including Haas UMC 750 and VF-series machines.
• Create, edit, and optimize Haas G-code programs using Fusion CAM, Mastercam, NX CAM, or comparable systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM files, 3D models, and GD&T requirements to develop machining strategies.
• Perform machine setups, generate tool lists, select tooling, and optimize speeds and feeds for quality, efficiency, and tool life.
• Design and machine fixtures, maintain setup documentation and programs, and support machine maintenance and shop upkeep.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams, improve manufacturability, troubleshoot processes, mentor teammates, and assist with product assembly when needed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Advanced experience with 3-axis milling, 4th-axis rotary machining, and 5-axis machining, including multi-axis mill and lathe operations.
• Proficiency operating and programming new and legacy Haas controls using G-code.
• Experience with Fusion 360, Mastercam, NX CAM, or another capable CAM platform.
• Background in complex surfacing, swarf cuts, contours, aerospace applications, and machining materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, and plastics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. authorizations. High school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. are also required.

• Experience with Fusion 360 specifically.
