Applied AI Strategy Business Planning Lead - Chief of Staff (AI)

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America

Salary: $130,700–$205,200 USD annually, plus potential bonus and/or equity for US candidates.

What you will do

• Develop executive presentations, strategy updates, operating reviews, investment cases, and transformation narratives.
• Translate AI, data, software, platform, infrastructure, and product initiatives into clear business narratives and measurable outcomes.
• Design and manage operating cadences, including leadership meetings, business reviews, OKR checkpoints, planning cycles, and offsites.
• Drive annual and quarterly priority-setting, clarifying goals, milestones, dependencies, and ownership.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts, headcount, contractors, vendors, investments, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Lead high-priority special projects and resolve dependencies across Digital, strategy, and peer Chief of Staff organizations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy and planning, Chief of Staff roles, program or portfolio management, transformation, consulting, or a related field.
• Exceptional executive communication skills and experience creating concise, visually strong presentations for C-suite and senior leadership audiences.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy, including budgets, resource planning, and operational metrics.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, complex stakeholder groups, and fast-moving deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills without direct authority.
• Technical fluency in AI, data, software, platforms, infrastructure, and responsible AI concepts; bachelor's degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting AI, data science, software engineering, cloud, platform, infrastructure, automation, or enterprise technology organizations.
• Experience supporting a VP-level or senior executive team in a Chief of Staff, strategy, business planning, or operations role.
• Knowledge of AI adoption, governance, responsible AI, privacy, security, model lifecycle, or enterprise AI enablement.
• Experience building OKRs, portfolio and roadmap reviews, executive dashboards, and team operating mechanisms.
