Principal, Strategy & AI Transformation

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Most teams work from the office full time.

Salary: $224,900–$308,700 per year, plus potential restricted stock units and bonus.

What you will do

• Drive strategic growth and operational scaling for high-growth businesses such as Observability.
• Design and operationalize cross-functional programs with product, go-to-market, engineering, finance, sales, operations, and IT stakeholders.
• Own business outcomes across strategy development, product initiatives, and program management.
• Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop executive-level business cases, roadmaps, execution plans, and strategic planning materials.
• Manage matrix teams, including coaching and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in management consulting, top-tier technology strategy, or business operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to bridge business and technical discussions.
• Experience building relationships, influencing stakeholders, driving cross-functional alignment, and managing large-scale transformations.
• Ability to work as a proactive self-starter in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Top-tier MBA or similar academic credentials, with 4+ years of post-MBA experience preferred.
• Management consulting experience from MBB.
• Expertise in SaaS or enterprise software.
• Knowledge of AI or generative AI solutions and B2B go-to-market strategies.
