Director, CMS Business Planning and Management (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid role with at least 3 days in the office. Co-location in the Foster City office is available. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $179,000–$287,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead business planning and strategic execution for Commercial and Money Movement Services.
• Develop executive-ready business reviews, presentations, recommendations, and materials for leadership, investor relations, and board-level forums.
• Drive OKR governance, scorecard alignment, prioritization, performance management, and cross-functional accountability.
• Act as a strategic liaison between executive leadership, business units, centers of excellence, and functional partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, decision-making, and visibility into strategic initiatives.
• Champion AI adoption by scaling AI use cases, agentic capabilities, and automated workflows across business functions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Experience developing and implementing strategic programs in business operations or management consulting.
• Experience in strategy, consulting, project management, stakeholder management, and executive communication.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Replit to drive automation and workflow efficiency.
• Ability to synthesize data, manage multiple projects, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office setting in the United States, with at least 3 days in the office.

Nice to have

• 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent advanced-degree experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in payments, corporate and investment banking, technology, or consulting.
• Experience building AI agent toolkits with human-in-the-loop interventions and automated workflows.
• Knowledge of the payments industry and Commercial and Money Movement Services.
