Senior Manager, Preconstruction (Data Centers)

Compensation: $165,000–$190,000 plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead the preconstruction phase of data center and mission-critical facility projects.
• Develop detailed budgets and cost estimates from conceptual designs, schematic drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct value engineering, constructability reviews, and project document analysis.
• Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Prepare and present estimates, proposals, and value engineering recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams while supporting preconstruction best practices, procedures, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7–10 years of construction estimating experience focused on data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Proficiency with construction cost estimating software such as RSMeans, Timberline, or WinEst, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
