People Advisor

Location: Malta; workplace: Remote

What you will do

• Manage employee relations cases from initial advice through resolution.
• Support managers with performance management, probation, disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes.
• Coach managers on people management, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and HR best practices.
• Prepare and maintain contracts, letters, disciplinary outcomes, performance records, and other employment documentation.
• Maintain compliance of HR policies and practices with employment legislation and internal governance standards.
• Produce and analyze HR reports, support organizational change initiatives, and promote fairness and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a People Advisory or Employee Relations role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience managing employee relations cases and supporting performance, probation, disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes.
• Excellent coaching, influencing, stakeholder management, written communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Nice to have

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent, or progress toward certification.
• Experience with organizational change, restructures, consultations, HRIS, or reporting tools.
• Experience in a multi-site or international environment.
