What you will do

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and orientation scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data within HRIS platforms like BambooHR, ADP, or Gusto.
  • Coordinate payroll preparation, validate hours, and assist with benefits administration.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with U.S. labor laws, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEOC.
  • Support recruitment workflows by posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and payroll.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR support, HR operations, or people operations.
  • Must be based in the United States and available during U.S. business hours.
  • Proven experience with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, or Zenefits.
  • Strong familiarity with U.S. labor law compliance and multi-state regulations.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and HR reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll or international HR support.
  • Background in high-growth startup or SaaS environments.
  • Experience with HRIS implementation or process improvement initiatives.
