What you will do
- Lead complex fire engineering projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for fire strategies, engineering reports, and design solutions.
- Develop innovative, performance-based fire engineering solutions for challenging projects.
- Act as a technical authority on UK fire safety legislation, Building Regulations, and industry best practice.
- Manage relationships with clients, developers, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead proposals, fee submissions, bid responses, market strategy, and the development of a fire engineering team.
Requirements
- Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Significant experience in a fire engineering consultancy environment.
- Experience leading, managing, and developing technical teams.
- Chartered Engineer status or progress toward becoming a Chartered Engineer is preferred.
- Knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, Building Regulations, and industry best practice.
