Manufacturing Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and optimize manufacturing workflows, assembly methods, layouts, and automation integration for robotic system components.
• Use CAD/CAM, simulation, statistical analysis, and SPC tools to identify bottlenecks and improve cycle time, yield, throughput, and scrap rates.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to apply Design for Manufacturability principles and transition products from prototypes to high-volume production.
• Lead root cause analyses using 8D and Fishbone methods, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Set up, validate, and maintain CNC machines, test fixtures, and automated assembly equipment.
• Conduct process capability, FMEA, Gauge R&R, supplier-process, and incoming-material assessments while supporting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in systems or electronics manufacturing, including process design, equipment integration, and analysis.
• Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical tools, process simulation, metrology, and data-driven process optimization.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality management systems, and production planning.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, attention-to-detail, and independent-working skills.
