Focus on analyzing safety performance, implementing corrective actions, reviewing high-risk procedures, and advancing environmental and sustainability initiatives across data center sites.

Location: Ohio, United States; onsite. Travel within the U.S. is required up to 25% of the time, with flexible hours to accommodate site needs.

What you will do

  • Implement EHS processes for high-risk activities, including electrical safety, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and contractor management.
  • Ensure regional compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations and conduct site assessments.
  • Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, oversee corrective actions, and communicate lessons learned.
  • Create and deliver training covering topics under 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926.
  • Review and approve safety-related Methods of Procedure and participate in Change Advisory Board meetings as needed.
  • Support environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, recycling efforts, and portfolio-wide EHS programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Electrical Safety, Mechanical Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in health and safety, operations, or construction in critical environments, ideally data centers.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication, training, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Ohio and travel within the United States up to 25%.
  • Availability for flexible working hours based on site requirements.
