Senior Systems Architect (Electrical Hardware)

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America; relocation available; travel up to 25%

Salary: $147,050–$230,850 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States

What you will do

• Lead multiple teams of electrical hardware engineers and internal or outsourced development partners across the full design and development lifecycle.
• Oversee part qualification, product quality plans, equipment inspections, factory witness testing, and manufacturing process qualifications.
• Review designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development standards, providing feedback to improve product quality.
• Provide electrical and electronic hardware architecture leadership across cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Develop cost estimates, business cases, appropriation requests, and project plans for hardware engineering initiatives.
• Drive innovation, integrate new technologies, prepare technical reports, and mentor less-experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 10 years of experience in electrical design, engineering tools, electronic hardware architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with hardware architecture, hardware design, systems design, electronics, printed circuit boards, and schematic capture.
• Knowledge of C++, Python, MATLAB, FPGA, debugging, simulations, oscilloscopes, and new product development.
• Ability to lead complex projects, evaluate multiple technical factors, communicate effectively, and mentor engineering staff.
