Salary: $124,000–$165,300 annually

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, development, simulation, and validation of electronic systems for storage products.
• Optimize power, thermal, mechanical, electrical, performance, cost, and reliability characteristics.
• Design and validate voltage regulators, power systems, PCBA layouts, and signal and power integrity solutions.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, servo-mechanical, materials, factory, supplier, and core engineering teams on new devices and assemblies.
• Support schematic capture, manufacturing Gerber documentation, component qualification, BOM creation, DFM reviews, and board releases.
• Lead lab validation, troubleshoot complex issues, support customer-facing teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant electronics engineering experience focused on system architecture and design.
• Advanced knowledge of electronics architecture, circuit design, analysis, PCB layout, signal integrity, and EMC principles.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python, with experience in FPGA design and implementation.
• Experience with CAD tools, electronics industry standards, complex project leadership, and technical mentoring.
• Ability to work onsite at the Irvine, California office.

Nice to have

• Experience in the hard disk drive, SSD, or consumer electronics industries.
