Maintenance Automation Technician (Robotics)

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM Monday–Friday

Salary: $32–$38 per hour, plus a $1.25 shift differential and a $10,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Maintain and repair production equipment, facility infrastructure, robotics, controls, and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, sensors, motor drives, PLCs, HMIs, servo and stepper drives, vision systems, and equipment networks.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including robot inspections and pneumatic and electrical connection checks.
• Adjust robot program points, servo homing settings, sensors, and automated equipment for safe and reliable operation.
• Add variant part numbers, update inspection programs and test specifications, and maintain equipment data outputs for collection.
• Document work orders, inspect completed work, maintain safety standards, and support coworkers with training and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree in controls, automation, robotics, electrical, mechanical-electrical technology, or equivalent manufacturing experience and training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Hands-on electrical experience, strong mechanical aptitude, advanced troubleshooting skills, and creative problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently, train coworkers, and work occasional weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts.
