Production Technician (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Tolleson, Arizona, USA. Approximately 75% of the work is performed on a construction site with required PPE. The role includes working at heights up to 45 feet, in restrictive areas, and across temperatures from 105°F to 32°F.

Salary: $21.50–$25.00 per hour, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Operate and monitor automated storage and retrieval, palletizing, depalletizing, and material-handling systems.
• Perform pre-production checks, system inspections, cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checks, component validation, and electrical-system checks.
• Diagnose system stoppages using HMI tools and manual intervention, recover robotic vehicles, and return equipment to service.
• Maintain system uptime through robot recovery, suspect removal, bot health actions, rover bot upkeep, and basic automation technician support.
• Analyze recurring faults, perform root-cause corrective actions, and escalate production-impacting issues.
• Follow OSHA, customer, lockout/tagout, fall-protection, and other safety procedures while supporting process improvements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices, reliable attendance, quality, and productivity.
• Ability to perform system inspections, including cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checking, current measurements, and electrical checks.
• Ability to analyze stoppages, prioritize work for uptime and throughput, and resolve or escalate issues.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, follow system procedures and manuals, multitask, and communicate by radio.
• Must be literate in written and verbal English.
• Must be able to work onsite in physically demanding conditions, including climbing stairs, working at heights and in restrictive areas, standing or walking for 10–12 hours, and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds.
