Automation Maintenance Technician (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Centralia, Washington, USA

Salary: $20.00–$29.00 per hour, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO and other benefits.

What you will do

• Inspect, operate, maintain, calibrate, repair and modify automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, lifts and adapters.
• Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies and stoppages using schematics, wiring diagrams and advanced test equipment.
• Monitor automated material flows and support inbound and outbound operations to maintain throughput.
• Perform PLC troubleshooting, robotic arm setup, calibration and tool changes.
• Recover automated robotic vehicles in restrictive environments and perform minor utility and machining work.
• Document inspections, parts, labor and repairs in the computerized maintenance management system while maintaining 5S standards.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent education and training.
• Strong electro-mechanical skills, PLC knowledge and advanced troubleshooting ability.
• Associate degree or equivalent certification or experience in electronics, automotive, automation or manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, multitask and maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Written and verbal English literacy is required.
• Ability to work onsite in a construction and industrial environment, including heights up to 45 feet, restrictive areas, steep stairs and temperatures from 32°F to 105°F.
