Senior Market Intelligence Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Travel of up to 10% may be required.

What you will do

• Lead research and analysis of global data center, cloud, and digital infrastructure trends, including demand, pricing, supply pipelines, and hyperscaler activity.
• Evaluate market fundamentals across global metros, including customer demand, competitive supply, land availability, power conditions, infrastructure readiness, and regulatory dynamics.
• Support market entry, expansion, prioritization, site selection, and location planning recommendations across global regions.
• Build and improve market intelligence frameworks, datasets, databases, analytical workflows, dashboards, visualizations, and executive presentations.
• Use third-party data platforms for data center, energy, power, land, and real estate analysis.
• Mentor junior team members, review analytical work, and promote consistent analysis and reporting practices.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in market intelligence, strategy, consulting, investment analysis, or data analysis, with direct data center industry experience.
• Strong understanding of global data center market dynamics, including supply, demand, pricing, hyperscaler activity, infrastructure constraints, and site selection.
• Strong Excel proficiency and experience working with large structured datasets and repeatable analytical models.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau and third-party data providers for data center, energy, power, land, or real estate analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Ability to provide informal leadership, collaborate cross-functionally, mentor colleagues, and travel up to 10% as needed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with QGIS, Mapbox, or ArcGIS and spatial data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Geography, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Master’s degree, MBA, CFA, PMP, or data analytics certification.
