Chief Analyst (Data Center)

Location: 275 Grove St, Auburndale, MA 02466, USA; in-person work three days a week or more, with flexibility to work from home or remotely at other times

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 annually, based on experience

What you will do

• Lead research coverage of the global data center market across infrastructure, hardware, software, and emerging technologies.
• Create and maintain reports, trackers, forecasts, sizing models, and competitive landscape analyses.
• Analyze hyperscale deployments, edge computing, sustainability initiatives, and AI infrastructure requirements.
• Present research at conferences, client briefings, webinars, and to media and industry publications.
• Provide strategic consulting and advisory services on data center investments, technology roadmaps, and market opportunities.
• Build client relationships and support sales, marketing, product management, PR, and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in the data center ecosystem, either as an industry analyst or industry professional.
• Strong technical understanding of data center technologies and the ability to form distinctive, credible opinions on market evolution.
• Experience with quantitative research, market forecasts, trackers, and communicating data-driven trends.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
• Ability to build industry relationships, identify commercial issues, manage deadlines, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work with global clients and virtual teams.
