Account Engineer (Chemical Industry)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand; regular travel to industrial estates outside Bangkok is required.

What you will do

• Achieve annual sales targets and execute account development plans.
• Manage assigned customer accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot customer issues, and improve customer processes in quality, efficiency, and cost control.
• Coordinate technical issues, business opportunities, and competitor insights with product marketing managers, sales, and internal Atotech stakeholders.
• Recommend quality and process improvements while maintaining compliance with safety requirements, laws, regulations, and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Electroplating, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of sales or technical support experience in the chemical industry.
• Strong communication and technical or business writing skills.
• Mandarin and English are required to support Mandarin-speaking clients and coordinate with local Thai colleagues.
• Computer literacy and a valid local driving license.
• Regular travel to industrial estates outside Bangkok is required.

Nice to have

• Electroplating industry experience.
• Thai language skills for trilingual Mandarin, Thai, and English communication.
• An international driving license for foreign applicants.
