Senior Project Manager

Location: DEMATIC Quebec City; candidate must reside in Quebec, Canada; fluent French required. Up to 40% travel may be required.

Base pay: CAD 120,000–140,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the initiation, planning, governance, and delivery of complex strategic projects valued at approximately $30M–$70M.
• Build integrated project plans, manage schedules and dependencies, and allocate resources across projects.
• Lead project teams, mentor project managers and practitioners, and support collaborative delivery.
• Manage stakeholder communications, expectations, conflicts, and executive-level reporting.
• Support contract negotiations, vendor performance, change orders, and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Manage budgets, costs, forecasts, risks, issues, and corrective actions to protect project outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive project management experience.
• Proven experience delivering complex, strategic, cross-functional projects with significant organizational impact.
• Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Jira.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, financial management, and governance skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Fluent French and residence in Quebec, Canada are required.

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
