Highway Construction Project Manager

Location: Walnut Creek, California; onsite field work

Salary: $110,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer highway and transportation construction projects from contract award through completion.
• Manage technical, financial, schedule, and client satisfaction aspects of projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and assist with construction scheduling.
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with design specifications and contractual requirements.
• Maintain project budgets, schedules, and comprehensive project documentation.
• Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 10 years of building construction management experience.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and near bodies of water.
• Ability to perform physically demanding field duties, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and operating a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
