On-Site Project Manager (Automation)

Location: USA remote with travel; candidates must be located in the Eastern, Central, or Western time zones. Up to 60% travel is required, including extended work at customer installation sites.

Salary: $101,000–$138,600 base annual compensation.

What you will do

• Own project delivery across scope, cost, schedule, quality, and system acceptance objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams through site preparation, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.
• Coordinate engineering, supply chain, quality, installation, commissioning, suppliers, contractors, and customers.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities to support on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide clear updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with customers and executive leadership while providing oversight and mentorship to other project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience managing large automation, material handling, or construction projects.
• Experience with scheduling, scope, cost, risk management, design/build, installation, and construction projects.
• Proven stakeholder management, negotiation, problem-solving, and on-time, on-budget delivery skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, earned value management, and data-driven performance tracking, including Smartsheet or Jira.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 60%; work may require frequent customer-site attendance.

• Background in robotic automation, ASRS, or material handling.
