Product Manager (Legal Technology Infrastructure)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $175,000–$250,000, plus variable year-end compensation.

hirify.global is building a Legal Technology team focused on transforming how attorneys work with documents and enabling AI-powered capabilities.

What you will do

• Define and drive the Legal Technology infrastructure product roadmap.
• Own document storage, metadata architecture, and scalable information access across the legal department.
• Partner with legal, product, and engineering stakeholders to identify pain points and translate business needs into infrastructure requirements.
• Design retrieval infrastructure for semantic search, deterministic clause retrieval, and relational metadata.
• Work with AI engineers to evaluate the best retrieval approach for different use cases.
• Lead initiatives through discovery, prioritization, launch, and iteration while defining scope, dependencies, and success metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Five to ten years of relevant product management experience.
• Experience partnering closely with software developers on technically complex products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to solve open-ended problems.
• Experience with platform, infrastructure, data, search, content management, or document-centric products is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with storage systems, information architecture, metadata modeling, retrieval systems, or related technical areas.
• Exposure to AI-enabled capabilities such as semantic search, knowledge retrieval, or document processing pipelines.
