Senior Technical Program Manager (Quantum Computing)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of complex internal and external scientific research and delivery programs.
• Translate scientific objectives into clear project plans with defined scope, milestones, success criteria, ownership, and governance.
• Coordinate work across research teams and serve as the primary contact for delivery status, commitments, and customer programs.
• Identify, escalate, and manage project risks, dependencies, delivery issues, and corrective actions.
• Provide project plans, estimates, risk assessments, and capacity forecasts to the Director of Programs.
• Track resources, effort, time allocation, project costs, scope changes, and delivery data using established systems.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in quantum computing, physics, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing complex research programs with successful outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills without formal authority.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• PhD in quantum computing, physics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience working with or exposure to quantum technologies.
• Experience managing customer relationships and delivering complex projects.
