What you will do

• Develop and manage integrated planning processes covering make-versus-buy decisions, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, materials, and costs.
• Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage to execute build-to-order and build-to-forecast plans.
• Establish inventory forecasting, purchasing, material control, production scheduling, and inventory accuracy practices.
• Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships, cost, quality, delivery targets, and supplier scorecards.
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, machining, assembly, manufacturing, and finance to resolve schedule issues and achieve on-time delivery and cost-reduction targets.
• Manage department budgets, resources, and multiple teams while representing the materials organization in cross-functional task forces.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of materials planning and related operational disciplines.
• In-depth understanding of how materials management integrates with the wider business function.
• Experience managing multiple related teams, setting priorities, and allocating resources.
• Ability to resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
• Ability to work in Singapore; travel is required approximately 10% of the time.
