Engineering Technician 4

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States

Pay: $27.89–$51.79 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus

hirify.global develops and supports equipment and technologies used by engineering and global service teams.

What you will do

• Build, test, and improve equipment and technical solutions alongside engineers.
• Conduct research, experimental testing, and data collection, then prepare technical reports.
• Provide technical support to engineering, technical support engineering, and global service operations.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Help determine corrective actions for equipment malfunctions.
• Support the design, assembly, testing, and checkout of accurate test equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least 4 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or in a similar technical role.
• Experience assembling and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems; vacuum-related product experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools including soldering irons, drills, and saws.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, attention-to-detail, organization, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with vacuum-related products.
