Engineering Technician - R&D (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Salary: $29.00–$39.60 per hour

What you will do

• Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronic and electro-mechanical systems, prototypes, specialized test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Test and troubleshoot system- and component-level electrical and mechanical problems with minimal supervision.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Investigate problems, compile data, document findings, and recommend product or manufacturing process improvements.
• Write technical reports, test procedures, logbooks, and other engineering documentation.
• Support NPI installations and field upgrades, provide technical input, and train lower-level Engineering Technicians.

Requirements

• Advanced specialized expertise in an analytical or scientific technical area.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
• Ability to work with limited or no documentation and solve complex problems using technical judgment.
• Ability to work across engineering and manufacturing teams and communicate technical information effectively.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, work in tight spaces, use hand and power tools, and operate heavy machinery such as forklifts.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and use required personal protective equipment.
