Engineering Technician II (T2) 2nd Shift (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; 2nd shift

Salary: $21.50–$29.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical problems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and rework after testing.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Compile logbooks, test procedures, documentation, and Quality Notifications.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Developed analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods.
• Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, and plans.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical work-area problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting and exchanging information.
• Ability to follow engineering, manufacturing, safety, and security procedures.
