Senior Technical Program Manager (AI Hardware)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; flexible hybrid workplace model

Salary: $189,000–$250,000 USD per year, plus equity and other rewards.

What you will do

• Lead planning, scheduling, and execution for silicon, package, and systems development.
• Coordinate engineering teams to estimate, prioritize, and deliver work against realistic schedules.
• Develop project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, milestones, and release dates.
• Manage quality, technical risks, project issues, and stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate project meetings and operational checkpoints throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, customers, executives, and engineering leadership to deliver program outcomes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with silicon design, tapeout, and product qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and prior semiconductor engineering experience.
• Experience with the EVT, DVT, and PVT product qualification lifecycle.
• Experience influencing decisions and leading teams in a matrix environment.
• Strong multitasking, communication, technical presentation, and process improvement skills.
• Expertise with program management tools such as MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of photonic structures, optical communication, and laser solutions.
• Experience establishing project management initiatives from scratch in a startup or new business unit.
