Compliance & Materials Engineer

Location: Singapore-Yishun; onsite, day shift

hirify.global develops and manufactures products requiring global operations, supplier management, engineering, and regulatory compliance.

What you will do

• Manage assigned commodities and suppliers against quality, cost, delivery, and schedule objectives.
• Review supplier performance, lead root-cause analysis, resolve technical issues, and eliminate recurring non-conformances.
• Drive material cost reduction, value-engineering, supplier qualification, RFQs, total-cost analysis, and supplier negotiations.
• Support NPI projects by defining supplier performance criteria, communicating manufacturing specifications, and sourcing suitable suppliers.
• Maintain Materials of Concern compliance data for material part numbers and coordinate product-line compliance activities.
• Assess regulatory risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and communicate implementation progress to site and global leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 8 years of relevant experience in procurement engineering, supplier quality management, product engineering, manufacturing, or related environments.
• Hands-on experience with sourcing, procurement, process engineering, or supplier quality management in an MNC manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical parts manufacturing or fabrication processes, design specifications, DFx analysis, technical drawing interpretation, and BOMs.
• Exposure to global REACH, RoHS, PFAS, and TSCA 6 developments.
• Strong analytical, communication, influencing, and regulatory interpretation skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP EHSM.
