SERT Supplier Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Act as the primary focal point for the Supplier Engineering Excursion Response Team and liaison between Manufacturing Operations and Supplier Engineering Quality.
• Lead supplier excursion response, evaluate supplier performance and capabilities, and drive continuous improvement at supplier sites.
• Lead quality problem resolution and incident management, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive systemic supplier improvements at the process level and document quality issues through containment, root cause, corrective action, and verification using the 8D methodology.
• Train suppliers, participate in process audits, and promote sound testing methods aligned with corporate compliance and industry standards.
• Support development, documentation, and execution of the global hirify.global Quality Management System.

Requirements

• Depth or breadth of expertise in supplier management, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering in the semiconductor industry.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend practices that improve products, processes, or services.
• Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate resources, risk, and complexity.
• Ability to solve complex problems using analytical judgment and identify innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for resolving complex quality issues and influencing stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
