Supplier Engineer (Gas Distribution and Chemical Delivery)

Location: Singapore, Upper Changi

What you will do

• Lead supplier technical audits for semiconductor gas panel assemblies and related sub-assemblies.
• Drive continuous improvement at supplier sites, focusing on assembly processes, cleanliness, build quality, and functional reliability.
• Lead quality problem resolution, containment, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Identify trends and implement systemic process improvements to prevent recurring supplier issues.
• Use enterprise quality management systems to document, track, verify, and close quality issues.
• Act as the primary quality interface between suppliers and internal engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing, preferably involving gas panel assembly or chemical/gas delivery systems.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of semiconductor gas panel assemblies, gas delivery systems, and OEM components such as mass flow controllers, valves, and regulators.
• Experience with quality management systems, internal and external audits, FMEA, risk management tools, and basic statistical methods.
• Understanding of good manufacturing practices, lean principles, process controls, and cleanroom contamination control.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of gas line and weldment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of sealing components such as O-rings and C-seals.
